Bio-innovation Gets $20 Million Boost

BENGALURU:  Four new bio-innovation clusters, each with an investment of $20 million (`136 crore approximately) have been proposed in the state. The centres are expected to come up at Mysuru, Mangaluru, Tumakuru and Dharwad and will operate in collaboration with a reputed educational institution near the clusters.

At Mysuru, a Nutri/Nutraceutical and Phyto-Pharmaceutical (N2P2) Park will come up in an area of 14 acres, and will have research and development (R&D) facility for various nutrition and phyto-pharmaceuticals.
