Infosys award for NIIST scientist

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Scientist A Ajayaghosh has bagged the Infosys Prize 2012 for physical sciences in recognition of his pioneering research in the construction of supra molecular functional materials, which can be employed as components in organic electronic devices and in selective optical sensing and imaging. New drug for TB in the offing

JAMSHEDPUR: The city-based National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML) is the shining star among the 37 laboratories of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in the country and its contributions have figured in all documentations prepared by the council for its ongoing 70th year of celebrations.
