Happy with CSIR progress, aim to stop brain drain: Deshmukh

CHANDIGARH:  Union Minister of Science and Technology & Earth Sciences Vilasrao Deshmukh on Friday inaugurated the CSIR leadership conference at Institute of Microbial Technology, Chandigarh, a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Delhi. In this conference about 100 scientific leaders of CSIR, including 38 directors of its national laboratories spread all over India are participating.

Addressing the media, Deshmukh said that this meet was organized once every year where the CSIR family gets together to take stock of the progress made so far and to chalk out the future plan for research apart from various management issues including HRD……
