Bus Rapid Transit study: Trial run from May

NEW DELHI: With the user perception survey winding up on Thursday, Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) is getting ready to start the second phase of the court-mandated BRT study with a trial run. To start in May, the run will allow free flow of traffic on the lanes.

“Right-moving traffic, whether buses or motor vehicles, will travel on the BRT lane while traffic going straight and left will move on the existing MV lane.” The trial run, expected to go on for about a week, will be followed by a simulation exercise, said Dr S Gangopadhyay, director, CRRI….
