Herbal cure for TB in sight

BHAVNAGAR: There is a ray of hope for millions suffering from tuberculosis (TB).

Scientists of Bhavnagar-based Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSMCRI) have discovered anti-TB contents in the roots of salicornia brachiata, a plant that grows naturally in abundance along the Gujarat coast, especially in Saurashtra. This is the same plant which has given world’s first vegetable salt……
