For past four years, low-intensity quakes in post-monsoon months common in Nanded

PUNE: The North-Western patch of Nanded city of Marathwada region of Maharashtra has been experiencing earthquakes of very low intensity, particularly in the post monsoon months, since past four years.

Experts from National Geological Research Institute (NGRI) in Hyderabad attribute it to a phenomenon called hydro-seismicity and are currently carrying out a detailed study of hazards and risks…..
