2-day science leadership programme begins at CIMAP

LUCKNOW: A two-day programme for young leadership in science started at the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic (CIMAP) on Thursday. The programme was attended by 18 meritorious students hailing from different districts of UP. Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, director, CIMAP said that the programme is initiated by CSIR all over the country to attract young minds to science.

On the other hand, `faculty training and motivation and adoption of schools and colleges by CSIR labs’ programme started at the National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) on Thursday. The purpose of the programme is to create awareness and motivate teachers and students of adopted schools and colleges for science education.
